Christmas trees are coming to town.
Yes, the Weyburn Young Fellows are unloading their first shipment of Christmas trees this Sunday and throughout the week. The trees will be set up and ready for sale on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Trees can be found in their usual spot this year in the Young Fellows tree lot at 215 Second St.
Shoppers have their choice of several different varieties of Christmas trees including B.C. Fir, Balsam Fir and Fraser Fir as well as Scotch Pine and White Pine. The trees will range in price depending on variety as well as the size of the tree.
The tree lot opens for the first day on Saturday, Nov. 28 and will remain open until Wednesday, Dec. 23. During the week the lot will open at noon and remain open until 8:30 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and Sundays the lot will be open from 1-4 p.m.
All the money raised by the Young Fellows with the sale of real Christmas trees will be put back into the community of Weyburn through Young Fellow projects.
