A frozen protest

Weyburn members of CUPE's Health Care Council are bundled
up against the high wind chill and -30 C temperature as they walk
the picket lines on Thursday in front of the Weyburn General Hospital.
The 700 CUPE workers in the South Central Health District joined
their 12,000 fellow union members across the province in a full
one-day walk-out in protest of a lack of progress in the contract
negotiations with SAHO, the employers' bargaining agent.
