Turner and the Tournament

Don Turner shows off some of the colourful history
of women's championship curling in Canada - just a small part
of the unique Turner Curling Museum located in the Weyburn Leisure
Centre. Turner, who was inducted as a member of the Governor General's
Curling Club last year, will be conducting several tours this
week for the participants in the SaskPower Scott Tournament of
Hearts which begins Wednesday night. The museum's vast collection
includes 18,000 pins, 200 crests, 75 curling stones, brooms, photos
and memorabilia from around the world.
