The Weyburn Review features the views of junior high students once a month in this space. This month we feature views from Weyburn Junior High, St. Michael Junior High, Gladmar Regional School and Yellow Grass School. The question we asked this month:
"If you could live the life of a famous Canadian, who would it be, and why?"
I would like to be Eric Lindros, because he's like six feet five inches, he plays professional hockey with the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Flyers are winning. I would also like to be him because he's got about $5-6 million and a huge mansion-like house.
- Andy Smoliak,

I would like to be Bret Hart, because he is a great athlete and gets paid good money. He also gets to travel the world doing his job, wrestling. He has many fans and is a very good role model. He does, however, have to be on the road 250 days a year. I would love to live in Calgary.

She's definitely the person I would love to be.
- Michelle Megenbir,
Gr. 8, St. Michael School
If I were to be a famous Canadian I would be Mario Lemieux, because he is the best hockey player that there ever was. I would want to be him in the 1990s because I would love to see how it feels to win the Stanley Cup, and be one of the best hockey players to win it. He is the best!
