Bunny love
Grace Carruthers cuddles Snowball, her rabbit, during
a visit with her Grade 2 class at Assiniboia Park School on Wednesday.
She's had the Himalayan-cross bunny since last October, and feeds
her carrot peelings, alfalfa pellets, lettuce and cabbage. Grace's
class was studying the stories of Beatrix Potter, including the
tale of Peter Rabbit. Children will be keeping an eye out for
Snowball's cousin, the Easter Bunny, who will be hopping around
the area on Easter Sunday, April 4, delivering goodies and eggs
to mark the special day.
