The Weyburn Oil Show Board has only a few booths left for exhibitors in the 1999 version of the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show scheduled for June 9-10.
"We're down to three indoor booths and 10 outdoor, so it looks like it will be another total sellout," said the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show secretary Nola Nikolejsin.
The biennial Oil Show will feature safety, environment and automation seminars along with a June 8 golf tournament and social for participants, as well as barbecue dinners being put on by the Weyburn Red Wings and the Weyburn Young Fellows.
Another highlight of this year's Oil Show will be the presentation of the Southeast Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year Award with past winners including Jerry Mainil, Ray Frehlick and Ron Carson. Other awards presented will include the Oilman of the Year Award and the Hall of Fame Inductees.
Nikolejsin adds exhibitor bookings have come along nicely over the past few weeks with close to a dozen indoor exhibitors adding their names to the list.
The 1995 Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show was a total sellout of indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces. Exhibitors came from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the U.S. and a simlar complement of exhibitors is expected for this year's show.
