The scheduling and planning for Graduation 1999 at the Weyburn Comprehensive School is well underway by the grad students and parents.
The date has been set for Saturday, June 26, and much of the schedule has been established with fund-raising now underway through the spring.
Rehearsal for the grad exercises will take place on Friday, June 25, from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. On June 26, the day will start with the group photo in the Cafetorium at 2:45 p.m. followed by the punch reception in the courtyard, to which the public is invited to attend.
The graduation ceremonies will begin at 5 p.m. Each grad will have two reserved seats for the ceremony, with general seating available for the public. A barbecue in the Curling Rink will follow at 7:15 p.m., open for ticket-holders only, and a program will be held at 9 p.m., including the showing of a grad video.
The dance will begin at 9:45 p.m., also at the Curling Rink, open for grads, parents and guests, and the Chem-Free After Grad party will kick off at midnight.
A number of fund-raisers are planned, including have a raffle at the Comp booth at the Farm, Home and Leisure Show to be held on Thursday and Friday, April 22 and 23, in the Sports Arena and Curling Rink.
