Standing guard

A male Canada goose, one of many in the area, stands
guard near a nest along some standing water located near the Souris
River and the Tatagwa Trail. Neither the male nor the female parent
will stray too far from the nest over the one month period while
the eggs are developing. This pairing should see their offspring
emerge in approximately two weeks.
