Fun in the mud
Participants in the first annual Halbrite Mud Volleyball
Tournament, including, from left, Lisa Vick, Tricia Guest, Chantal
Lizuck, Trevor Laird and Jim Murphy, have some fun in the mud
during one of many games played Saturday. Face painting, a dunk
tank, a tug-of-war and a pie-eating contest were all part of the
day's events.

Ready to launch

Swimmers competing in the Weyburn Silver Seals Invitational
Swim Meet get ready to launch into the air and compete in the
girls aged 13 and 14 100 -metre breast stroke, Saturday. Twelve
teams from all over Saskatchewan competed in the meet, which
ran all day at the Weyburn Leisure Centre. The Silver Seals were
well represented with 58 swimmers. |
