Rumely run

Lionel Nixon cranks up a 1924 30-60 Rumely owned by Stu Mitchell of Francis during the tractor show at Midale on Saturday. Close to 40 antique tractors were on hand for the delight of the spectators. Many of them were started up and driven in a circular pattern around a baseball field to demonstrate how they operated.

Deana Morrice, at left, and Leah McKenzie doubled up in the open pairs riding contest held during a horse show in Midale on Saturday. Morrice and McKenzie came in second for their efforts.
