Flower Power
Top photo: Zachary Burgess is a bit shy about posing
with the flowers in his parents' front flower garden at their
Ash Drive home. His parents Rhonda and Leon threw in a package
of wild flower seeds and voila - this was the result!
Pictured middle left: Lauren and Marshall Holliday,
children of Bill and Jayne, show off the flowers on the steps
of their Woodlawn Crescent home. The yard features a mixture of
junipers, shrubs, perennials and annuals.
Pictured middle right: Drew Bakken checks out the petunias
in the back yard rock garden on Woodlawn Crescent. His parents,
Kevin and Denise Bakken, have many varieties of flowers and shrubs
around their landscaped yard.
Pictured bottom left: Shirley Ward admires the petunias
in her front yard flower garden. Her back yard is a riot of color
with a wide range of flowers, shrubs and a vegetable garden!
Pictured bottom right: Bailey and Danica Dionne sit
amongst the flowers at the home of their grandparents Wally and
Joyce Oliver on Ash Drive. The many colourful flower gardens in
their yard are the creation of Wally, enjoyed by the whole family.
