Facing the media

Saskatchewan Party leader Elwin Hermanson fields questions from members of the media on hand for a health care forum held in Weyburn on Tuesday morning. The forum was hosted with Weyburn-Big Muddy candidate Brenda Bakken, with comments and questions brought by members of the public. Hermanson did some campaigning with Bakken in the afternoon before heading to Estevan.

A sharp turn

Tegan Marshall of Yellow Grass takes her horse for a sharp turn during the pole bending competition at the Weyburn High School Rodeo, Saturday at the Exhibition Grounds. Parents and spectators came out to watch competitors from grades 9 to 12 in 10 events. In pole bending, riders wind their way through a line of five poles, trying not to knock them down in the fastest time possible.
