Ready to talk turkey

John Corrigan of the Young Fellows Club, Gord Busch and Gil Mountney heft some of the turkeys to be cooked and prepared for the Performing Arts Centre's fund-raising World's Largest Fowl Supper on Sunday, Oct. 10. Members of the Young Fellows will be serving turkey to those attending what organizers hope will set a world record for a fowl supper; there will be 110 turkeys weighing a total of 1,875 pounds cooked up for the Thanksgiving feast at the Weyburn Comprehensive School. The event will include entertainment by the Celtic group, the Barra MacNeils. Supper tickets are for sale from members of the Rotary Club, with tickets sales standing at 786 as of presstime.
