Art entries now accepted for Weir Exhibition in January

Local artists and craftspeople can display their works at the 17th annual James Weir People's Choice Exhibition from January 5-30 at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery in Weyburn.

Gallery visitors during this time will vote for their favourite piece. At the end of the exhibition, a reception will be held where all participants will be honoured and the top-rated artists will be acknowledged.

Entries will be accepted from Weyburn, Stoughton, Radville, Lang, Milestone, Fillmore, Wilcox, Riceton, Cedoux, Corning, Pangman, Trossachs, Griffin, Ceylon, Goodwater, Minton, Lake Alma, Oungre, Yellow Grass, Colgate, Creelman, Forget, Gladmar, Hardy, Heward, Khedive, Hansworth, Kronau, Lajord, Parry, Osage, McTaggart, Ratcliffe, Talmadge, Tyvan, Tribune, Beaubier, Bromhead, Bechard, Colfax, Davin, Dummer, Estlin, Froude, Gray, Lewvan and Maxim.

The art exhibition's entry forms are available at the Signal Hill Arts Centre and the Allie Griffin Art Gallery. The deadline for all entries is Monday, Dec. 13. More information about the exhibition can be received by calling the Signal Hill Arts Centre.
