Young Fellows Christmas trees on sale Nov. 27

The Young Fellows Club of Weyburn will once again be selling Christmas trees in Weyburn and area with the proceeds being distributed by the club to the community.

Young Fellow Scott Benning says the first truck load of trees is scheduled to arrive on Nov. 21, with the lot scheduled to open on Nov. 27 and with sales continuing until Dec. 23.

The lot will be located north of the Co-op food store on Second Street.

The hours of operation will be from noon to 8:30 p.m. on the weekdays, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1-4 p.m. on Sundays.

Benning adds the variety of trees for sale include White Pines, Scotch Pines, Balsam Firs, Fraser Firs and Douglas Firs. The Young Fellows' Christmas tree sales project is over 40 years old, and is simply another project the club is involved in to raise funds for community projects, said Benning.
