Shaina Berling, Colleen Cretin and Crysta Geisler, from left, demonstrate the fun tots can have during the parent-tot skate on Thursday morning. The parent-tot skate is held every weekday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. and every weekday afternoon from 1-3:15 p.m., and the best part about it, say the tots' moms, is that its free!

Checking on the bird

Evan Nast and Dana Fahlman, both of the Weyburn Comprehensive School's SRC, check out a turkey in a roasting pan in advance of the school's sixth annual Fowl Supper on Monday, Nov. 29. The supper will run from 5 to 7 p.m., with many students, staff and former staff volunteering, along with members of the city's business community, school board and Weyburn Red Wings for the SRC's annual fund-raiser. Besides the turkey supper, the jazz band will perform along with entertainment from several students.
