Weyburn Comp Eagle basketball player Katie Farney jumps for two points while a Notre Dame defender is on top trying to prevent the basket. The Eagles hosted Notre Dame on Saturday for an exhibition match to start the basketball season off; the visitors defeated Weyburn by a score of 67-48.

Queen Elizabeth School celebrates school spirit

Queen Elizabeth School Grade 3 teacher Janet Woodard dons a shark's head as she explains a math problem to her students during the school's Under the Sea Spirit Day on Thursday. Students dressed up in ocean-related costumes to show their creativity and school spirit.
