Weyburn gathers to hear carolers

Weyburn residents assemble to hear 10 groups perform at the Sunday afternoon Quota Club Festival of Carols performance. Spectators filled every seat available for the 46th annual festival which included local talent of all ages. About 600 spectators took in the sfternoon and evening performances, an increase from last year.

Singing around the Advent candle

St. Michael School kindergarten students, led by teacher Maureen Cooney, sing a Christmas song after lighting the first Advent candle of the season on Wednesday. Each week an additional candle will be lit as the month progresses toward Christmas, with a different song to be sung relating to each week of Advent.
