Garbage gripe

Residents of Navou Park, including, from left, Eric
Rivard, Joe Perrault, Al Fahlman and Valerie Perrault get turned
away at the city landfill, Monday. The Navou trailer park, located
south of the Main Track Cafe, is under the jurisdiction of the
RM of Weyburn. Residents of the rural municipality are no longer
allowed to dump their garbage in the city landfill after the RM
refused to pay a per capita fee for garbage use as of Dec. 31.
The residents, who want to see the city and RM resolve the dispute,
have been left with mounting piles of garbage and no where to
put it. Check out the Weyburn Review for more details. Phone 842-7487
