Plans for the expansion of the Weyburn Public Library will top the discussion at the library's annual general meeting to be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15.

The meeting will get underway at 7 p.m. downstairs in the library's committee room.

The meeting will include the election of officers for the coming year, the librarian's report and the annual report from chairwoman Isabelle Butters.

Her report will include general information on the year's activities and statistics, said Butters, and details about the initial efforts to plan for the library expansion project. The library board named an architect who has started to draw up the plans for the project.

The public is invited to attend the annual meeting of the board, which will be about an hour in length.
