The details of how 1999's fund-raising campaign went will be the focus of the Weyburn and District United Way annual general meeting tonight, Feb. 9.

The meeting and dinner will be held at the Weyburn Legion Hall starting with cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7.

The umbrella group's single biggest event, the annual Communithon, will be reviewed along with the organization's finances and election of officers during the annual meeting.

The United Way has 17 member agencies who combine their fund-raising efforts together at the Communithon broadcast, to avoid having each group do their own fund-raising in the community during the year.
