New band premieres
Weyburn's newest band, Linger, performs one of its
original numbers before an audience of young people in the Knox
Hall on Saturday night. The band includes, from left, drummer
Codi Johnson, lead guitarist Rob Hillstead, bassist Nathan Binns
and lead singer and rhythm guitarist David Roman. The event was
staged along with the Knox Presbyterian youth group.

Two opposing players rise to the occasion at the net
during a recreational volleyball game at the Pangman Rec Centre,
held as part of the Pangman Winter Carnival on Saturday. The
carnival featured many varied activities for the day, from card
games and children's games to broomball and a community supper
at the end of the afternoon. |
