The community of Creelman will host a bone marrow clinic on March 30 in the hope of finding people whose marrow can help those suffering from blood-related disease.

The clinic is an important step in the donor process.

"Anyone who is interested in being a donor has to attend a session," said Linda Wilson, director of client care services at Fillmore Health Centre. "The information session basically outlines what's involved in blood marrow donorship. Potential donors learn what the statistics are in terms of how many people need donors and of how many people qualify to be a donor."

The clinic will be useful to those thinking about donorship or to those who wish to learn more about bone marrow donation.
