Music will be front and centre at the Weyburn Comprehensive School in the next couple of weeks. The Weyburn Music Auxiliary will feature the Saskatchewan Heritage Band on Friday, March 24, in the Cafetorium starting at 8 p.m.

The 12-piece orchestra will be under the co-direction of Weyburn's Bill Grohn, featuring two hours of easy-listening music, including jazz, waltzes, polkas, ballads and swing. Tickets will be available at the door.

The Weyburn Music Festival began this week, and will continue on Monday, March 27 in the instrumental and vocal classes, with many of the performances at the Comp. The event will be capped off with Stars of the Festival on Monday, April 3, in the Comp Cafetorium, starting at 7 p.m.

Badminton is now in full swing and track practices have begun.
