Overall field construction on the PanCanadian CO2 project is around the 80 per cent level, according to Mike Forgo, operations supervisor for the project. Forgo said that the flow line work is nearly complete and the company is cleaning up right-of-ways while farmers prepare to seed. All that is left in the fields is the hook-up at both ends as the intermediate work is done. "The good weather, warm winter and spring, are helping keep us on schedule," said Forgo. The drilling program is also on schedule, with Forgo estimating that all drilling on the CO2 project will be complete by August. After that time, PanCanadian will focus on drilling that is not part of the project. Plant construction is on target at close to 50 per cent complete, and is expected to be complete by the first part of September. |
