Passing some time at the Green Exchange
Russell and Susan Heaman look over the wide selection
of items at the Green Exchange on Saturday at Knox Hall. The event
was organized by the Environment Committee in conjunction with
the city clean-up campaign. The hall was filled with donations
of used items, an encouraging sign to organizers that word is
getting out about the exchange, now in its second year. It also
benefits worthy causes such as the Salvation Army and Art Africa,
which pick up whatever isn't sold. All proceeds from the sale
go to the South Central Health District Foundation.
