Losing the locks for cancer

The first officers put their heads of hair on the line for the annual Cops For Cancer head shave on Sunday afternoon. They are, from left, Const. Jim Heron of Yellow Grass, Const. Dave Domoney and son Nolan of Weyburn RCMP, and Les Hill, organizer of the Country Music Jamboree where the head shave took place this year. The Weyburn police raised around $12,000 for cancer research, while police in the Southeast Unit's area raised a total of $20,000. There were a total of 23 law enforcement officers who were shaved, along with a number of others.
