Taking care of flowerbeds

Lana Mantei provides water to one of her many flower beds around the back yard of her 11th Street home in Weyburn. Her landscaped yard includes both annuals and perennials, such as gladiolas, sunflowers, zinnias, petunias, snapdragons, angels' trumpets, plum and apple trees, and a grapevine in the front.

Taking in the rides

Seamus, left, Synnove and Shawn McGrath take a ride on the ferris wheel at the Weyburn Fair midway on Monday. The day was perfect for taking in the midway, cattle shows, performers and other events as the sun came out in the afternoon and the exhibition grounds filled with people.
