The Weyburn Horticultural Society held its monthly meeting on June 28 in Tatagwa Park with a potluck supper.

The horticultural members helped the Weyburn Comprehensive grads decorate by making bouquets of flowers.

The Weyburn Horticultural Society will be holding a bus tour to the Radville area to visit gardens and greenhouses. The cost is $20, and non-members are welcome. The tour is on Tuesday, July 18 from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The horticultural annual show will be held the weekend of August 12 and 13 in conjunction with the Weyburn Wheat Festival, in the Curling Rink. Entry show books to enter flowers, plants and vegetables are available from Arvilla Carleton.

The next meeting of the horticultural society will be held in conjunction with the horticultural show awards presentation in September.
