On July 23, Milestone Alliance Church held their first Baptismal Service of this millenium at the new Milestone Pool.

The 15 candidates, ranging in age from seven to 90 years old, consisted of: Diane Prieb, Mabel Johnstone, Derek Vanstone, Laura Morris and Crystal and Darren Stephenson of Lang; Terry Knowles, Arlene, Joshua and Matthew of Truax; Lorna Lalonde, Don Lalonde and Regan Ortman of Gray; and Angelina Lunde and Kenda Lunde of Rouleau. Approximately 130 people attended the service.

The outdoor baptismal service at the new Milestone Swimming Pool was a powerful testimony as to how God has worked in each one's life.

Visiting guests who attended the outdoor service came from Chilliwack, B.C., Regina, Yellow Grass and surrounding towns. This is the church's third annual baptismal service. To date, there have been 30 candidates.
