Due to the teachers' work-to-rule campaign, only one event is still ongoing at the Weyburn Comprehensive School: the magazine sales campaign by the SRC.

As this is run during school hours it is allowable. The project generates income for the many SRC projects run during the year, and the sales program offers prizes to the students.

Honour roll certificates were handed out on Tuesday afternoon to this year's grade 11 and 12 classes for last year's academic achievements.

All tournaments and extra-curricular activities, meanwhile, have been cancelled, including a district golf tournament, practices, drama and volleyball and soccer tournaments. The district golf will only be rescheduled if a teachers' contract is worked out by Sept. 19.

The Welcome Week activities, which had been set for this week, were cancelled, as is Parents' Night, scheduled for Sept. 19, if the current contract situation continues.
