Hazeldene Evans and Isabelle Butters of the Homecoming 2000 committee presented the Mini Go School program with $2,400 from the proceeds of the event held this past summer.

Linda Rudachyk, organizer of the Mini Go School program, said she had faith that the community would respond to their need.

"Hopefully it's the start of good things to come," said Rudachyk.

The money will go directly to programming to provide for food and staffing costs, says Rudachyk. "This donation is a great beginning and will allow the Mini Go School to continue its program," she said.
