Spending a day at the beach?

Grade 9 students from St. Michael Junior High dress up for a day at the beach - in their imaginations - during the school's Beach Day, Thursday. Relaxing in the sun and sand (fluorescent lights and gym floor) as the winter wind blew outside were, from left, Vicky Schultz, Christine Loos, Kayla Rieger, Jenny Kot and Michelle Kot.

Sun, snow and skiing

Students from the Weyburn Comprehensive School, including from left, Nikolina Budimcic, Abby Plonka, Ashley Sproat, Stacey Hoff and Reid Ganz, swish through the parking lot at Queen Elizabeth School on their skis, Thursday. The students were cross country skiing as part of their gym class.
