Trevor Trussler, a player for the Weyburn Red Wings, is shown where to go on an Internet web site by St. Dominic student James Dutton. Three Red Wing players dropped in for St. Dominic's reading night on Wednesday, bringing various team souvenirs as prizes for the children and parents who attended. Prize draws included winning a chance to read or do an Accelerated Reading test with a player.

Golden Spike, Golden Service honourees

The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce's Golden Spike winner, Marlene Nedelcov, accepts warm congratulations from the winner of the Golden Service award, Bonnie Goranson of Bonnie's Bagel, Monday night at the Chamber's annual meeting. Nedelcov was given the Golden Spike for her many years of outstanding community service, while Goranson's business was named the Golden Service winner among Weyburn businesses for outstanding customer service. The annual meeting included a supper, awards presentation, a guest speaker, Chamber business and the swearing in of the new executive.
