Weyburn Public Library reopened

A full house of city residents and library patrons listen attentively as Mayor Don Schlosser brings greetings as part of the grand opening of the Weyburn Public Library on Friday afternoon. The old library building was almost completely redone in renovations, while this area, measuring about 4,400 square feet, is a new addition, housing the children's area and Internet computers at right. There is also 1,500 sq. ft. added onto the front for the new circulation desk and reading area, and the upper mezzanine has had the lobby and former circulation desk area taken out, opening up more space for adult materials.
