Humane Society fund-raiser launched

Gayl Miller sits in front of the play house he built for the Weyburn Humane Society, along with Young Fellows Club members president Greg Konotopetz and Peter Andrews. The Young Fellows provided the lumber and other materials for the house, worth about $2,500, including the windows which were also donated, and the house is being raffled off to raise funds for the Humane Society's work in the city. The play house can be hooked up to power and water, and was first put on display at the Weyburn Fair; the draw date will be in December.
