Pretty as a flower herself, Raeghan Schmidt surrounds herself with the beauty of tiger lilies. Raeghan is the daughter of Darren and Barb Schmidt. The lilies belong to Mary Konotopetz. Her Second Ave. NW yard has an amazing variety of flower beds, planters and a large vegetable garden as well.

A big (empty) nest

Maegan Biss shows off a huge wasp nest that was found under the front steps of her Washington Drive home on Friday. Her father, Terry, was taking off siding and removed the steps, and found the vacated nest, about the size of three basketballs.
