Members of the Francis Skating Club wave to the crowd
during the Francis parade held at noon on Saturday. The parade
was held to mark the town's 95th birthday, and included many
organizations, teams and commercial floats from Francis and the
surrounding area. |

Balloons released from downtown

A crowd of children release 120 balloons from the
centre of downtown on Friday, as viewed from the roof of the
former Co-op department store. Each balloon had a card inside
with information to phone or e-mail the city, and a prize will
be given for the balloon found at the furthest distance. |
