Ready for Remembrance Day

Candice Kopeck has a poppy pinned on by the Legion's Poppy chairman Allan Day, as Jen Shelly looks on at the start of Poppy Day on Saturday. The girls are Guide Cadets, one of several groups who were out on Saturday around the business sector selling poppies in preparation for Remembrance Day on Sunday, Nov. 11. The sale of poppies, along with wreaths and crosses, help fund the Legion's programs to help veterans and their families.
