The Redcoat Rams were away the past two weekends in a row, playing in Swift Current and then Melville this past weekend.

They travelled to Swift Current over the Oct. 27-28 weekend and played two games against the undefeated Broncos. In the first game the Rams lost a close-checking game by a score of 6-5. Scoring for the Rams was Kyle Haines, Bryan Sherman, Justin Richter, Derek Bachart and Brendon Vertefeuille. Vertefeuille had the only assist for the game.

In the second game, the Rams lost a one-sided battle by a score of 7-2. Scoring for Weyburn was Brandon Tenbult and Bryan Sherman. Assists went to Vertefeuille, Clinton Griffiths and Craig Wilgenbusch.

The Rams then travelled to Melville over the Nov. 3 weekend and lost a close battle to the Millionaires by a score of 7-6.

Brendon Vertefeuille led the way for the Rams by scoring three goals. Singles went to Tenbult, Kent Lillejord and Derek Bachart. Assists went to Haines, Ryan Wagner, Wilgenbusch, Jason Hoium, Griffiths and Richter.

The Rams hosted the Notre Dame Hounds at the Colosseum on Tuesday night, after presstime, and they will be travelling to Regina this coming weekend for a tournament.
