The Bienfait Prosper Southern Sabres travelled to Swift Current on Nov. 9 to participate in the Swift Current 'AA' hockey tournament.

On Friday night, the Sabres defeated the Saskatoon Barons by a score of 5-3. On Saturday the Sabres soared over the Regina Hawks by a score of 10-2.

This win brought them in to the 'A' semi-final on Sunday afternoon where they were defeated by the Saskatoon Flyers by a score of 15-3.

Picking up Player of the Game awards at the tournament were Tyson Herlick, Rylie Johnstone and Jackson Walliser.

The next action for the Sabres is Nov. 17 and 18 when they travel to Assiniboia for league play.
