And so dawn rises on a new year

Weyburn residents were treated to a winter wonderland as the new year approaches, as trees in and around the city were painted white with thick hoarfrost. The beauty of winter is a fitting way to leave 2002 behind and greet a new year full of opportunities and challenges. The Weyburn Review wishes all of their readers and customers a Happy New Year.

A group slide

A large group slides down the tobagganing hill near River Park on a large piece of plastic, taking advantage of the fresh snow and mild weather on Friday afternoon. Many people were able to take advantage of the nice weather over the holidays, and try out some of their Christmas presents on the hill, located on Confederation Drive.
