Three curling teams from the Weyburn Comprehensive School took part in the recent Regina Youth Bonspiel, which ran from Dec. 27-30 at the Tartan and Caledonian Curling Clubs.

The senior boys' team skipped by Jason Obst lost in the quarter finals in their division. The girls' team skipped by Michelle Knoblauch lost out in the consolation finals for the junior girls division.

Finally, the mixed team skipped by Brennan Jones lost in the qualifier for their division.

This was the second out-of-town major bonspiel that the Comp curling teams had taken part in. The bonspiel featured 56 male and female teams from across Saskatchewan.
