Elementary school can sure be a circus sometimes

The entire Grade 1 class of Queen Elizabeth Elementary School, along with their teacher Karen Satre and parent volunteers Charlene Keen and Tricia Kot, gather together on Friday morning to show off the costumes they wore to school that day for Clown Day. The students brought their own costumes, but their make-up was done by Keen, Kot and Bob Satre.

Learning proper brushing

Kindergarten student Jenna Neufeld tries her hand at toothbrushing Dudley the dragon's teeth, as dental educator Rosemary Henricksen and fellow student Brayden Brenholen look on. Henricksen, who works for Sun Country Regional Health Authority, presented a dental education session to all grades at St. Dominic Savio School on Wednesday.
