The Weyburn Horticultural Society held its annual general meeting on Jan. 22 at Signal Hill Arts Centre.

The evening began with a potluck supper.

Discussion was held during the meeting on the 2003 Wheat Festival for Aug. 8-9. The show book was discussed and any recommendations and improvements will be made.

The minutes of the 2002 annual meeting were read and adopted, and the 2003 reports were read.

At the meeting there were three new board directors chosen: Leeta Whitrow, Meta Murray and Mary Konotopetz. Arvilla Carleton will be publicity chair.
