Ready for Telemiracle

Weyburn singers Lynn Torgeson and Dawn Glaspey are ready to present their unique blend of music at the 27th annual Telemiracle fund-raising broadcast this weekend, March 1 and 2. The duo were the only talent chosen from the Weyburn area to perform for the 20-hour fund-raiser this year, which is broadcast across the province to raise money for the Kinsmen's various projects. The pair will sing a number of songs from midnight to 7 a.m. on March 2.

20 years of service

Recipients of the Weyburn Police Service's Meritorious Service award gather with the chief of police Monday evening at city hall. The awards are presented to members who have served the city as police officers for 20 years or more.
