Prairie-style sunset

The setting sun peaks out over the edge of the Paterson elevator in Yellow Grass on March 4, sending out rays of sunshine across the darkened elevator. Scenes like this are rare now in Saskatchewan, as the sun has figuratively set on wooden elevators themselves, giving way to large cement terminals and condominiums.

Checking over the Oil Show brochure

Marlene Nedelcov, manager of the Weyburn Oil and Gas Show, and Review pubisher Darryl Ward, advertising co-ordinator for the Show, look over a brochure to be mailed out to all of the show's exhibitors on Thursday afternoon. Ward, who has been a member of the Oil and Gas Show Board since 1987, predicts the 2003 Show is going to be a sellout, as with previous shows. The Oil and Gas Show will be held at the Weyburn Exhibition Grounds on June 4-5.
