Meeting Felix at the fair

David Wood of the Regina Science Centre holds a white ferret named Felix as students at the Southeast Regional Science Fair gather around to pet it. The Science Centre had a number of science-based attractions at their booth, in addition to the approximately 140 displays brought by students from around the southeast area to 33 Central School in Fillmore; this marked the 12th year Fillmore has hosted the regional event. Summer Games sponsors

2004 Summer Games sports chair Jim Onstad, Jiffy Print owner Kevin Bakken, Friends of the Games co-chair Ray Erickson and Weyburn Review publisher Darryl Ward look over some 2004 Summer Games apparel Thursday afternoon at the Games store in the Weyburn Square Mall. The Review joins a number of other local businesses as a silver sponsor of 2004 Games. Residents are reminded that the City of Weyburn has declared Fridays as Games Apparel Days for the next several months, and money raised at the store will go to the Games.
