Checking over the equipment

Griffin students Jeff Anderson, left, Laura Knoblauch and Craig Warburton check over each other's equipment before diving back under the surface. Grades 2 to 9 from Griffin School took a class in scuba diving at the Weyburn Leisure Centre on Thursday, learning all the basics about using scuba breathing apparatus safely while under water. The course was offered as part of the students' Phys.Ed. class.

Part of the telephone team

A big part of the success of the annual Young Fellows' TV auction, which was held Saturday in McKenna Hall, is a result of teams of men who wait for the telephones to ring all afternoon and evening to take the bids of people watching the auction at home on television. From left to right, this team is made up of Greg Konotopetz, Henry Benning, Jack Diede, and Mark Robinson.
