Area Grade 12 classes prepare for grad

The date and times for Grade 12 graduation ceremonies this spring in most area high schools have been set and all that's left is the major organization required to pull together the banquet and exercises, and sometimes a social evening. In all cases, the exercises are open to the public.

Ceremonies will be held at the following times:

· The Pangman High School grad will be held on Friday, May 9. The banquet will be held at 5 p.m. and the exercises at 7:30 p.m., both in the rec centre. Ten students will graduate.

· Ogema High School, on Saturday, May 10, in the gym. Exercises begin at 7:30 p.m. with a banquet earlier. Eleven students are graduating.

· Lyndale School in Oungre, on Saturday, May 17 in the gym. A banquet begins at 5 p.m. with exercises at 7:30 and a social to follow. Eleven students will graduate.

· Gladmar School, on Saturday, June 7 in the school. Times have not been set for the banquet and exercises. Twelve students will graduate.

· Fillmore 33 Central High School, on Thursday, June 26 at the school. Times have not been chosen. Nine students will graduate.

· Midale Central, on Friday, June 13 at the Harry O. Memorial Arena. The banquet will be held at 5:30 p.m., with exercises to follow. Fourteen students are graduating.

· Sedley High School, on Friday, June 27 at the school. A banquet will be held at 5 p.m., with exercises at 8 p.m. Twelve students will graduate.

· Stoughton Central, on Friday, June 27 at the school. A banquet will be held at 5:30 p.m. with exercises at 7:30 p.m. Twelve students will graduate.

· Milestone High School, on Friday, June 27. The ceremonies will be held at 8 p.m. at the rink, with a banquet at the Masonic Hall earlier. Fourteen students will graduate.

· Yellow Grass High School, on Friday, May 16. The banquet will be held at 6 p.m.. in the Communiplex and the exercises in the school gym at 8:30 p.m. Seventeen students are graduating.

· The Weyburn Comprehensive School, on Wednesday, June 25. A punch reception will be held at the school at 3 p.m., with ceremonies in the gym at 5 p.m. A banquet will be held at the curling rink at 7:15 p.m. A total of 138 students will graduate.
